SACRED FRANCE

SACRED FRANCE
We will explore the legacy of the beloved disciple Mary Magdalene and follow her footsteps to her sacred sites throughout the beautiful French countryside. We will touch into the living legends as well as the people and places of great mysteries that make this sacred journey so special.
We travel to Provence and visit St. Maries La Mer, Maximin Basilica and then walk to the Grotto of Saint Baume dedicated to Mary Magdalene. We then follow her trail to mysterious Languedoc and the Rennes Le Chateau area. We begin at Maries by the Sea and the Black Madonna Sarah. Legends say that in 40AD Mary Magdalene arrived by boat from the Holy land with Mary Jacobe, Mary Salome, Lazarus and Sarah. Some say that Sarah was the child of Mary Magdalene and Jesus. In Johanna’s book, Mary has revealed her ‘story’ to the arrival in France on these mythologies in an incredible manner giving thought to truth, fiction or myth for you to consider.
We will explore the stories of Mary Magdalene and her true role in history including the messianic heirs. From the two centuries after Christ the Christian Gnostic teachings of spiritual awareness spread out from France, Britain, Ireland and Wales. In 325AD the Roman Church council of Nicea under the Roman Emperor Constantine acted to unite Rome under a single religion for political reasons. They moved to stamp out the Gnostics and their anti-dogmatic approach to spirituality. Books, saints, and the human lives of the Holy family as well as the Celtic and Nazarene Churches were banned as heretical. The original teachings still continued in Europe until the Inquisition and it is still alive today in the art, churches, suppressed books and the secret sites of the Madonna.
We will discuss how Mary Magdalene embodies and carries the Divine Feminine, which represents divine union of the female and male and spirit and matter within each one of us.
Mary speaks directly to the women of today and how we can apply her sacred teachings. The story of Mary Magdalene offers a dynamic potential with the opportunity to embody her wisdom and potent healing energies as we open to the Grail of the Heart within. We will ask for her guidance and greater understanding for our own divine purpose.
We will explore the Knights Templar who not only returned to France from the Holy Land with documents that undermined the Church but upon their return they began building the great Gothic Cathedrals dedicated to Mary Magdalene, whom they called the Grail of the World. The Templars venerated Mary Magdalene as the Mother of Wisdom, the ancient goddess Sophia, embodied in the goddess Isis with the Horus child. We discuss why she was the Knight Templar’s patron saint and why they considered her the supreme alchemist – the holders of divine secrets.
In
Johanna’s latest book, My Greatest Love, My Greatest Sorrow, is the
life and love of our sacred Mary Magdalene. Johanna will explore with you Mary’s
recent teaching on who and what the Grail truly is at this time in our history
on the earth and what her real name is! This journey will take us to those
sacred places where the beloved disciple lived, wrote and shares her wisdom.
Johanna will lead sacred meditations, open discussions around Mary’s true role
and Vanda, as sacred historian, will share her expertise. Within the program we
will create time for walks, integrations and wonderful gatherings. Within
